FAQ

Straight answers

Including the ones that aren't in our favour.

Does the interviewer see or hear Precognia?
No. Precognia runs entirely in your own browser tab, alongside your meeting. It never joins the call, never appears as a participant, and never plays audio. Nothing is sent into the meeting — it only listens and shows answers on your screen.
Does it work on Zoom, Google Meet and Teams?
Yes — anything that runs in a browser tab. When you start a session your browser asks which tab to share; you pick your meeting tab and tick 'Also share tab audio'. That checkbox is how Precognia hears the interviewer, so it's the one step worth remembering.
Can I use this on my phone?
Not for live sessions, and we'd rather tell you now than after you've paid. Capturing another app's audio is something mobile browsers simply do not allow — it's a platform restriction on iOS and Android, with no workaround. Live sessions need a laptop or desktop browser. Everything else works great on mobile: uploading your resume, editing your stories, and reading back your past sessions and answers.
How fast are the answers?
Seconds. The answer starts appearing while the model is still writing it, so you begin reading almost immediately rather than waiting for a finished block of text.
Where do the answers come from?
Your own material. Precognia grounds every answer in the resume, job description and background stories you've added, so what comes back sounds like your experience rather than generic interview advice. The more you give it, the more specific it gets.
Is using this cheating?
That's your call to make, and it depends on the interview. Our honest view: it's the same kind of help as notes next to your keyboard or a prepared story list — it just keeps up with the conversation. It can't invent experience you don't have. Some assessments explicitly forbid outside help, and you should respect those.
What happens to my interview data?
Everything is locked to your account. Sessions, transcripts and documents are private to you, enforced at the database level, and nobody else can read them. You can delete a session whenever you like.
What do I need to get started?
A Google account and a desktop browser. Adding your resume takes a minute and makes a real difference to answer quality, but you can skip it and try a session first.
